Jul. 1-16  High Point Fine Art Guild Spring/Summer 2010 Art Show at Theatre Art Galleries.  Free.  (336) 887-2137.  www.tagart.org

Jul. 1-Aug. 31  "Tell Me A Story" at the Doll & Miniature Museum of High Point.  An exhibit featuring dolls that appear in children's literature.  Tues. - Sat. 10am to 4pm.  Sun. 1pm to 4pm.  $5 adults; $4 seniors, students and groups 15+; $2.50 youth (6-15 yrs.); Free to children under 6.  (336) 885-3655.  www.dollandminiaturemuseum.org.

at High Point Museum

"High Point's Furniture Heritage" Exhibit at High Point Museum. Examine the history of the relationship between the furniture industry and the people of High Point. The exhibit includes interactive elements, photographs, memorabilia, machinery and furniture. Hours: 10am to 4:30pm Tues.-Sat.; 1pm to 4:30pm Sun. Free exhibit. Jul. 15 "Let's Talk Cars!" at Kagan's Parking lot. Local car buffs gather every Thursday to show off their favorite oldies and classics. Enjoy music and refreshments. 6pm. Free. (336) 882-8809.

Tour the J.H. Adams Inn

The J. H. Adams Inn in High Point is offering a special Lunch and Tour package of this property on the National Register. Built in 1918 for John H. The High Point Convention & Visitors Bureau wants to challenge the High Point Community to BRING IT!

Furniture Shopping in High Point

Visitors should take advantage of the information available at the Visitors Information Center, located in the High Point Convention & Visitors Bureau (HPCVB), at 300 S. Main Street.

The Visitors Information Center offers information on furniture shopping as well as maps and individual brochures on some of the furniture stores in the area. Be sure to pick up a Visitor & Dining Guide when you stop by.
